Yummmm....Monster Cookie..BARS

So as some of you know if you have read my 101 in 1001 that i have been trying to master a wonderful Monster cookie recipe but i found something much better the other day on the Internet, Monster Cookie Bars... and OH BOY let me tell you they were wonderful!! :) Yummm soooo happppy they turned out.
I even had a little helper today with these... HAHA ;) Gus loves to hang out in the kitchen and "supervise"

They are super simple all you need is
* 1/2C butter
*1C sugar
*1C brown sugar
*1 1/2C peanut butter
*3 eggs
*1t vanilla
*2t baking soda
*4 1/2C quick oats
*1C M&M
*3/4C Choc Chips

Mix up Butter,sugar,brown sugar, peanut butter,eggs, vanilla and baking soda together. Add in Oatmeal, M&M and choc chips mix well.

Put into greased jelly roll pan

Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 mins

Take out and ENJOY :) YUMMM sooo gooodddd!!!

I'm Loving: That today is my Friday! WHOOP WHOOP my bosses are attending a confrence in Georgia this weekend so I get a longer weekend. Sooo nice! I have many things that i NEED to do in these days so i'll be a busy gal!

I'm Loving: The new show "The Voice" it just started last night and i usually don't watch a lot of TV but I really wanted to watch this and i ended up really liking it. I'm not a Huge American Idol fan but i feel like this is much different.

I'm Loving: VERA BRADLEY! I have a bad obbesssion with her stuff! i have 2 almost 3 big boxes just full of her stuff, its pretty inexpensive and has sooo many fun colors! Check out PART of my collection! I'm loving her new summer colors and can't wait to buy a new piece :)

I have many more things including 2 big overnight bags like 20 more purses. after I found out about vera bradley i also got my mother and sister attached as well!

 I'm Loving: These new starbucks mugs. I purchased my First one when me and my sister took our road trip to Chicago and my second one my sister got for me while she was in DC , She also brought me home a Cupcake from DC cupcake.. :) yummmmmm. I also Love that Show on TLC! I just had a boring Vanilla with Vanilla frosting but she brought back Cherry Blossom and Cookies and Cream ones too.

I'm Loving: That the sun is TRYING to come out today! its been an crappy couple of weeks here in iowa and its supposed to keep on raining this weekend WAHHH no fun! Where are you sun, i miss you!!!

I'm Loving: My new project that I will be starting with my time off this week/weekend. Check back in a few days to see what it is :)

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had/is having a wonderful Easter! I had a great day just spent time with my sister and her husband and their four legged baby macy, Mom and dad and of course danny. We just just sat around and hung out and ate a wonderful meal! Ham sweeet potatoes and much more along with strawberry rubarb pie :) yummmm thanks mommmy!
We also had to move a bed inside... We live in a older home and beds that are bigger then a full do NOT go up our stairs so we had to take my parents big window out and push the bed up a ladder to the roof and take the bed in that way! Makes it alot harder then it should be... Oh well i'm just excited to be getting a bigger bed now :) HAHA

What did everyone do for easter?

As you can see I have finally figured out how to get new tab pages (with a little help from my sister) So keep checking back for when they are all set to Go I have my recipe tab that i will be adding all my new recipes that i have been trying and then my 101 in 1001 days tab as well, keep up with me to see how well i am doing at it!

Not much to blog about... Oh it was actually nice out today in Iowa YIPPPIE! still had on Jeans and a light sweater but the sun is finally shinning! OH SO EXCITED!

Hey all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday :) I'm Linking up with Jamie for another What I'm Loving Wednesday! Wednesdays are my fav because that means only one more day of work until the weekend... well for me atleast ;)

I'm Loving: This awesome Lemonade its PERFECT! Kinda tastes like a fresh squeezed one, its also really good to add some Gold Peeks Sweet Tea to it... What a perfect match for summer :)

I'm Loving: Blueberry Bagles with strawberry cream cheese. I used to HATE cream cheese but now i'm really into it on my bagles and crackers and such. Makes the perfect snack :)

I'm Loving: My bed! HAHA today I DIDN'T want to get out of bed! I could just lay in it alll day :)

I'm Loving: Life... so things may not be going perfect but i've finally got things going, Getting ready to finish up school and move on to more school, getting lots of bills paid off and spending wonderful time with my amazing family. I couldn't ask for anything better right now!

I'm Loving: Despicable Me How cute is this movie? it was on sale last weekend at Target and i've heard great things about it and since I LOVE kids movies i thought what the heck and I LOVED IT! too cute!

Sunday Funday!

Acutally i lied in my title it wasn't really all the fun of a sunday :( BOOO
The weather hasn't changed here in Iowa it kinda stinks, I just wish it would warm up and stay nice so I can keep my sandles out :)
For all of you wondering No I didn't get to wear my dress i bought for the Wedding i was SUPER upset! it was just tooo cold out I ended up wearing a Dress with tights and a sweater which i'm glad because the reception hall was FREEEZING but we still had a good time! It rained pretty much all weekend i was bummed out for sure! But we still got in a little grilling action which made me a little bit happier :) I LOVE food off the grill

These are the Best things EVER they are Called Bratos I HATE brats but these are amazing! They are a port and tofu product they have a little kick to them i love them! they are so hard to find the only place we have been able to find them is at a local grocery store in town.

My parents were out of town this weekend and we had a very sick cat in the house he was at the vet since tuesday and i was very happy to finally go pick him up on saturday before we left for the wedding i felt sooo bad leaving him but ohhhh well i guess... Poor guy!

Hes feeling much better now that hes home :)

I spent my day doing really nothing I cleaned the house and my very messy room before my parents came home and picked up the yard and swept off the sidewalk nothing too fun. I also just laid on the couch and watched the NASCAR race, i'm not big into racing but Danny has a friend that races and i always like to watch how he does, make it a little bit more fun when you actually know someone racing.

In my previous post I wasn't really sure what i should do with my hair but in the end i made a decision and i'm LOVING IT!

I decided to do something inbetween.....

 I took these photos in the car on the way to the wedding and guess what my camera died... forgot to charge it so i didn't get any photos at the wedding :(

Dark with lots of Blonde highlights.... I was very pleased with the turn out... but i did decide that i will so lighter for summer :) What do you guys think? Did i make the right decision? HAHA

* I really don't like Sea food at all but I tried Grilled Shrimp and I'm in LOVE! I could eat it all the time

*Yay.... I am for it if you NEED it, i'm not really into the nose job, botox ect stuff but I think if you truely need it get it :)

3. 2 things you love about spring are.....?

* Warmer Weather and flowers blooming

4. when's the last time you went on a picnic?

* Forever ago, I'd really love to go on one once it finally warms up tho!

* hahah i'm always on the facebook app but I really like this app by allrecipes it helps me come up with things when i can't think of what to make for dinner.

6. who does the grocery shopping in your house?

*Well I still live with my parents, so its usually me or my mom.

7. would you rather take a spin class or zumba?

* I think spinning class I would feel awkward doing zumba

8. how often do you go out to dinner?

* we used to go out atleast 3 times a week but since i've been trying to lose weight we hardly ever go out anymore.

Yucky day

Whenever I don't get a chance to blog for a couple days I actually get realllllly UPSET! GRRR
I got my hair colored yesterday, finally decided at the last moment and with a little help from my wonderful Styliest we had a wonderful idea! Check back later this weekend to see how it turned out.

Today is a very crappy day here in Iowa... its POURING out! I just keep looking out my office window and hating it, its also freezing out and I wore sandles today so needless to say while i was out getting my lunch my feet froze and I almost slipped way too many times : / 

What is everyones plans for the weekend? I have a wedding reception to go to, awhile ago i posted a dress I had found for the wedding so i'm pretty excited to wear it, i'm PRAYING that its not raining because I will freeze!  Other than that I am just going to relax I haven't been feeling oh so well lately I just think that i'm exhausted i have been busy busy busssyyy!!!

My boot camp class is going REALLY good, i didn't attend yesterday since i wasn't feeling good but I went on a long walk so that sorta made up for it ;) but so far I  have lost 6 lbs i'm super happy! I'm starting to feel so much better to i'm really changed my diet around and working out makes it soo much better i may always be sore the day after but it only gets better right?

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend I only have 2 hours until the weekend :) YIPPIE!!!

PROBLEM!!

Okay, so i'm getting my hair colored on Thursday and i have a terrible problem! I used to be blonde... hard to imagine huh? but now i'm back to my natural color with just a FEWWW carmel colored highlites....I LOVE my hair blonde but now that i don't work at the salon anymore its just way to much of an upkeepI do like my hair both ways.... but anyways whats does everyone think?

2 Totally different looks... ahhhh sooo hard! haha I think having lighter hair would be fun for summer!!

Well as you can all probably tell my favorite color is PINK, i mean really what girl's favorite color isn't pink? HAHA i actually used to HATE pink, but i've really grown into it. Can you tell hahah!

Something that i've been wanting for a lonnnnggg time is a puppy, i ask for one every holiday actually everday in general. I know that they can be alot of work but i just wish i had a snuggler at night for every hour hahah, gussy is an outdoor cat and sheds like crazy, we don't do much snuggling.

 I would LOVE either a Yorkie (Left) or a Corkie(Right) WHAAA



I am a Jr in college and i am majoring in Public Relations. I am finishing up my 2 year AS degree at a community college this summer and will be attending a 4 year university in the fall hoping to get into the Advance program Wish me luck!. I thought it was ok to goof off for a year and kind of fell behind in school so i've been playing catch up. I only go to school part time as a work a full time job.

Something really strange about me is that I really don't like Milk but if or when i do drink it i will only drink it if there is ICE in it HAHA Everyone makes fun of me. :) Do you do any weird things with your food?

I am a reality tv junkie, I love all those stupid shows, The real world, teen mom, blah blah you know I also am OBSESSED with the show Pretty Little Liars, i started watching it back at the chicago airport after new years when our flight got delayed and i was hooked after the first episoide.

Letss seeee... what else oooo ya i'm a terrible speller, its seriously terrible and i hate it, so if you happen to see things spelled wrong, ya just remember i'm terrible at it, i have gotten better but its not great! HHAHA

Don't worry i'm still alive

I was sooo excited to come home from work today and check out everyones blogs from the weekend, i am def addicted to blogging i was all mad because i didn't even get to blog ONCE this weekend so i'm going to make this one EXTRA LONG :)

Ooooo man oooo man what i wonderful weekend i had spending time with danny. We had an awesome time at the Zoo, it was the PERFECT day 83 degrees and breezy, I was uber excited to be able to wear capris a tank AND sandles all at once. It hasn't really been THAT nice here in iowa to be able to wear that yet!

We left right after work on friday and ooo boy... after working for 9 hours and then being in a car for another 4 its kinda rough, we were super bored on the way down and thankfully XM radio saved us we found a couple comedy channels and laughed our entire way to Nebraska :)

HAHA no he doesn't have a pink turtle airfreshner in his car, we took my car because it gets AWESOME gas mileage:)

We arrived at the hotel pretty late and went straight to bed, woke up and headed off to the zoo. Man the last time i was at the zoo i believe i was like 12 and its soooo much better when your a kid, not that it wasn't great but i just remember it being "like the coolest thing everrrr" HAHA didn't take a lot of pics but here is a few :)

 Sea otter, I was in love tooo cute i would have taken him home and snuggled up if i could have :)

 remember when I said I was super excited to see the Peguins? WHOOT WHOOT! they are AMAZING love them!

 We got really lazy when the day was coming to an end and decided to take the sky lift over the Zoo we went over these and many more animals but these dudes ARE HUGEEE

 Sea Lions remind me of mexico, while we were there we had our picture taken with them and they are all furry, its kinda odd.

We decided after the Zoo to drive only half way back and spend just a relaxing night and go out for dinner and drink, so about half way is Des Moines we got a nice room and walked over to a bar and got some amazing Onion rings, taco pizza and some drinks. Headed back to the hotel room so Danny could finish watching the NASCAR race.... boring..... haha

during the race he thought it was a good idea to do flips onto the bed until he felt sick, he also wanted the best action shot ever... (i believe i took over 10 of these) this was the best one... HAHA

He is such a gooff :)

busy BUsy BUSYYY day....

I love being able to have a day off during the week its SOOO nice! but today i'm super busy, so much to before we leave for the zoo. I have an unnormal amount of laundry to finish 1 load in the washer one load in the dryer and one load waiting to be put in the dryer. I'm sure half of the clothes i'm washing are clean, when i get ready for work in the morning if i don't like what i'm wearing i take it off and just throw it, i really need to get in the habit of just handing it back up :/. 

This isn't my room but its similar to what my looks like by thursday ;)

I have a million and one errands to run today but my car is @ the shop getting the oil changed, it was way over due ... lets not tell danny, he'd freak. ;) Sometimes i feel like going on trips are stressful and i'm only going to be gone for a weekend.

 After i get my car back i'm going to go spend a little bit of time with one of my best friends from high school,she is expecting a little girl in the middle of may, can't wait for her to get here :)

Well have boot camp tonight, was soooo mad on tuesday, they told us it started at 6:00 but it really started at 5:30 we we're a little upset so after class me and my sister decided we'd go have some mexican food, ymmmmm. That was my last yummmmy meal until boot camp is over, i can't wait to see the result after it, #anxious!!!

Well i better get back to all my work

What i'm LOVING Wednesday!

Ohhh boy there is WAY tooo many thing I am loving this wonderful wednesday but i'll just list a few :)

I'm Loving: THAT ITS WEDNESDAY that means only one more day of work and then it's the weekend! One of the things i like about my job is i only work 4 days but get paid for 5 and i get every thursday off :) its sooo nice!


I'm Loving: The wonderful weather, its actually starting to feel like spring here in iowa!

I'm Loving: My New Steven Madden Red heels that i found to go with my dress for the wedding outfit is almost complete Anyone have any ideas on Jewerly?

I'm Loving: That this month is filled with so many activities, Love spending time with friends and family! Weddings and Lots of Birthdays! Later this month one of my bestfriends from High school is finally turning 21 can't wait to get together with the girls :)

 

I'm Loving: That the orginal Teen Mom girls are coming back for a 3rd Season! hahah i love that show!

I'm Loving: Last but not least my wonderful boyfriend. Can't wait for a whole weekend to ourselves at the zoo :)
